This Privacy Policy explains how the MoonPhase Match team ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application MoonPhase Match: Couple Test (package com.auracam.love.vibe.test, the "App"). The App is provided for entertainment purposes only. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
Quick summary
- The App is free and supported by advertising. You do not need to create an account to use it.
- We do not collect your name, contacts, SMS, precise location, photos, or payment details.

- These SDKs may process device identifiers such as your Advertising ID and approximate, IP-derived location for ad and measurement purposes.
- You can control ad personalization through the in-app consent prompt and your device's Ad settings.
- All quiz, ranking, and compatibility results are generated for fun and are not advice of any kind.
1. Information We Process Directly
We aim to keep the App lightweight and to collect as little as possible ourselves. The categories below reflect what the App and its embedded SDKs may process.
App activity & content you enter
To generate results, the App may process inputs you provide within the App — such as dates, names or nicknames you type, and quiz answers. This information is used to produce your moon phase comparisons and quiz results and is generally processed on your device. We do not require you to provide real personal information; you may use nicknames or made-up entries.
Permissions the App requests
- Internet & network state — to load content and serve ads.
- Advertising ID (
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) — used by our advertising and attribution SDKs to deliver and measure ads. Required to be declared on Android 13+.
The App does not request camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, or precise (GPS) location permissions.
Device & technical data
Our SDKs may automatically receive standard technical data such as device model, operating-system version, language, country/region, approximate location derived from IP address, app version, and anonymized usage events. This supports analytics, crash diagnostics, ad delivery, and fraud prevention.
Local storage
The App stores preferences and saved results locally on your device. This data stays on the device unless you choose to share a result.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.
2. Third-Party SDKs We Use
The App embeds the following third-party software development kits. Each operator processes data as an independent controller or processor under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
Google Firebase
Operator: Google LLC. Components: Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config.
Purpose: understand anonymized usage, diagnose crashes, deliver optional notifications, and manage feature flags.
Data processed: app instance ID, device model, OS version, language, country, screen views, anonymized events, and crash stack traces.
Privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMob
Operator: Google LLC. Purpose: serve advertisements that keep the App free.
Data processed: Google Advertising ID, approximate IP-derived location, and ad-interaction events. Personalized vs. non-personalized ads depend on your consent choice, which we collect through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow for users in the EEA, UK, and other applicable regions.

Adjust
Operator: Adjust GmbH. Purpose: measure install attribution and prevent advertising fraud.
Data processed: Advertising ID, hashed device fingerprint, install timestamp, and conversion events.

Meta (Facebook) SDK
Operator: Meta Platforms, Inc. Purpose: Meta Ads attribution and measurement. It is not used for Facebook login or to access your Facebook profile.
Data processed: Advertising ID, app install/open events, and conversion events.

Your choices regarding these SDKs
- Decline or change consent in the in-app UMP prompt to limit personalized advertising.
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (path may vary by device).
- Disable notifications for the App in your device settings.
- Withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at devapp.aero+moonphasematch@gmail.com.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- No reading of SMS or call logs.
- No access to your contacts.
- No precise (GPS) location.
- No camera or microphone access.
- No access to your photo library.
- No payment card data — the App has no in-app purchases.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to data brokers. (Note: because the App shows ads via the partners above, sharing limited identifiers with those advertising SDKs may qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some laws — see Section 7.)
4. How We Use Information
- To generate and display your moon phase comparisons, quizzes, and results.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App and fix crashes.
- To serve and measure advertising that keeps the App free.
- To attribute installs and detect fraudulent or invalid activity.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. Sharing & Third Parties
We share limited data with: Google (Play distribution, Firebase, AdMob), Adjust (attribution), and Meta (ad measurement), as described in Section 2. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety. We do not otherwise sell your personal information for money.
6. Data Retention
- Firebase Analytics: up to 14 months (Google default).
- Firebase Crashlytics: individual crash records up to 90 days.
- Adjust: up to 24 months.
- Meta SDK: approximately 2 years.
- AdMob: per Google's advertising-platform defaults.
- Support emails: up to 24 months.
Data stored locally on your device remains until you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising or "sharing" of personal information for targeted ads.
- Opt out of personalized ads: use the in-app consent prompt and Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Exercise other rights: email devapp.aero+moonphasematch@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and none of the embedded SDKs are configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Users
The App and its SDK partners may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other regions where they or their service providers operate. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Security
We rely on Android's app sandbox and scoped storage, the Android Keystore where applicable, and HTTPS connections to SDK endpoints. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect data.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, noted in the App or in the Play Store release notes.
