These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of MoonPhase Match: Couple Test (the "App"), provided by the MoonPhase Match team ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Entertainment Purpose Only
The App is provided solely for entertainment and social enjoyment. All moon phase comparisons, quizzes, rankings, compatibility scores, and generated results are for fun. They are not scientific, astronomical, psychological, medical, relationship, financial, or professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such. Do not make any important decision based on the App's output.
2. License Grant
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. Your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Free App & Advertising
The App is free to use and supported by advertising. The App has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. By using the App you acknowledge that it displays advertisements served by third-party partners, as described in our Privacy Policy. Ad personalization is subject to your consent choices.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law;
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App;
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purposes;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent any security or functionality of the App;
- Use automated means to access or manipulate the App or its advertising.
6. Your Content
Any nicknames, dates, answers, or other inputs you enter remain yours. You are responsible for the content you provide and for keeping your own backups of any results you wish to save. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the App.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, graphics, moon visuals, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its results are accurate or meaningful in any way.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. Because the App is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD 10.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App.
12. Google Play Distribution
The App is distributed through Google Play. You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us only, and not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable Google policies, and you agree to comply with all applicable U.S. and other export-control laws.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when we update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
